WG5 - Med-Tracking

This project is supported for more than five years by the RMEI and it remains very promising.It deals with the safe transport of goods in the context of multi-modality. We are currently looking for partners to develop a prototype platform that could convince the state authorities of the importance of this project to be a flagship for the Mediterranean Region which represents 30% of world maritime trade traffic

WG6 - Renewable Intelligent and Efficient Energies for the Mediterranean.
This activity started in 2012. The group has already organized several conferences and conferences and prepares responses to European tenders. It also develops contacts with companies to set up innovative activities.

WG7 - Management of water resources
The activities of the RMEI have so far focused on the UMJAE program of young water ambassadors in the Mediterranean which is an initiative of the Water Embassy, our partner. In this context, the RMEI is associated with the development of the STRATEAU tool supported by the Embassy of Water, in particular through the intervention of students. We hope that a scientific group will quickly structure itself to benefit from existing skills in the network and prepare innovative scientific projects.

WG8 - Sustainable Tourism - Take The Med Jeunes TMJ
The RMEI is associated with DEFISMED which proposes Developing a Euro-Mediterranean collaborative platform to encourage investments in GREEN community development "and promote sustainable tourism and solidarity (TDS) rurally. The RMEI coordinates actions led by young people to decipher the potential of Mediterranean sustainable tourism. This TMJ project has just received support from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region.

WG9 - Conservation of Cultural Heritage
Launched following the meetings organized by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and reinforced during the General Assembly of Padua / Venice, this project proposes to bring together specialists from the many scientific fields concerned for research and training actions.

WG10 - Cindyniques
As a historical activity of the RMEI, this activity is mainly concerned with earthquakes and the protection of the environment. This group supports the Master "Safety, Security and Environmental Protection of the Mediterranean Sea" carried by the University of Rome.

WG11 - Mediterranean Union for Research and Innovation - UMRI
The objective is to train doctors of high competence for the Mediterranean who are ambassadors of Peace. The first step is to identify laboratories of excellence that will accept that PhDs prepare their thesis with an additional year in order to devote this year, spread over several months on the entire thesis, to complementary training and Mediterranean culture. . Currently this project is carried by students of Engineers Without Borders of Ecole Centrale Marseille, in partnership with GAMe.

WG12 - Double Thesis
The idea is to propose the same subject of research to two students in two laboratories belonging to member institutions of the RMEI with, thus, two complementary approaches.
